People learn foreign languages since the early childhood. In kindergarten, at school, at university – the lessons of English, German or other languages are attended during all these years. But in fact, to communicate fluently, there is a need to stay in touch with particular language. If someone does not practise it, he can have problems with self-expression. Unfortunately, in some situations it is necessary. What if someone feels the language barrier at the airport – how to overcome it?

They know that not everyone understands everything and that some people speak fluently, while others have some problems with expressing what they think. Before the journey it is good to acquire some useful expressions that can be helpful during the check-in. Tiny books with the most needed phrases can be bought in many bookshops. Having one in pocket in some social situations can really help in case of some problems. And in fact there is no need to remember all the sentences word by word. The same thing can be explained in some easier words and even shown with gestures.

Many people know the language on a high level. They understand when they read something or listen to someone speaking. It must be remembered that usually the staff speaks more than the passenger. If he does not have any questions or special requests, he can go through the whole check-in without speaking at all.
