Premium, economic and business class

Nowadays, while booking flight tickets, you can choose between three different classes: premium, economic and business. Premium class is relatively new. For a long time customers could choose only between economic and business one. However, more and more airlines introduce premium class on their planes.

It is useful to understand what particular names means and what are differences between these classes. Thanks to it, you will be able to book a seat in the class that would be the most suitable for you and your needs. Main differences between these three type of classes includes, but don’t necessarily have to be limited to, comfort of seats and space between them, type and quality of meals and drinks, priority in check-in procedure as well as during boarding, possibility to making changes in reservation. Obviously, all of these differences are reflected in the price of tickets in particular class.

Space between sits is smaller than in other classes thus passengers have less space for themselves. Number and type of meals in economic class depend on the length and time of the flight. Depending on whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, passengers will be usually served omelet or scrambled eggs, sandwiches and so on. Passengers are often offered free drinks too. Some aircrafts offer passengers individual screen to enjoy audio-visual programs. However, it is not standard in business class and depends widely on airline, aircrafts as well as flight length.

Premium class is a class between economy and business ones. Passengers might enjoy more specious seats and additional facilities, as for example, bigger variety of available meals, wider choice of drinks, larger selection of audio-visual materials that could be watched in individual screen, electrical outlet next to the seat and so on. Additional options and bonuses in premium class widely depend on particular airlines. Some of them offer additional baggage allowances as well as priority in boarding.

Business class is associated with comfort and luxury. At the airport, passengers can use VIP loungers, equipped with computers, showers and other useful features. On board, passengers are welcomed with glass of champagne. Choice of meals and drinks is much wider than in any other class. Distance between rows and seats are bigger thus passengers have more personal space and can travel in more comfortable conditions.
